Former president of the Wartrace Chamber of Commerce and the Walking Horse Trainers Auxiliary and having served on the Tennessee Walking Horse Foundation Board and the Shelbyville Chamber Board, and Rotarian, Emily has developed powerful friends and contacts both locally and nationwide.
Phillip is an expert in equine property management and sales. Retired from 25 years as a professional horse trainer, he has served on the Tennessee Walking Horse Board of Directors and National Commission. His qualifications as a licensed Master Judge keep him in demand to preside over prestigious horse shows from Santa Rosa, California to the campus of LSU in Baton Rouge, as well as the World Championships held here in Shelbyville at the Walking Horse National Celebration.
As owner of Wilson’s Complete Lawn Care, Inc and The Wilson Realty Group, Inc., he has little time to pursue his favorite pastime of golf or his lifelong love of music. But, if you ever want to jam, just call. Phillip plays guitar, dobro, and drums.
Kelly is newest to the field of Real Estate, bringing fresh ideas and energy. Her focus is residential sales and first time home buyers. Her specialty area is South Rutherford County, which includes Rockvale, Eagleville, Barfield, Christiana, Midland and Fosterville. Kelly is very active in Children’s Ministry at World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro. When not working or volunteering, she enjoys spending her time with her husband and their four children camping, 4-wheeling and raising cattle on their family farm on Williams Road in Rutherford County.
Tara Wilson Way has been in real estate for seven years and started her career at the Franklin Bob Parks office. She is very knowledgeable about Franklin, Cool Springs, Lewisburg, and Bedford County areas. Tara specializes in horse farms, residential, land, investment properties, and first-time home buyers!
Tara is the mother of a fantastic 6-year old son, Bryce. She is very active in fundraisers for local charities such as the American Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity, and Spiritual/Step Groups. She is a member of World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro, TN. Tara is happiest when singing contemporary gospel and country music, drawing on her experience as a back-up singer. Having done several music videos and commercials, ABC Monday Night Football was her favourite.
Having won many blue ribbons exhibiting show horses with ex-husband Chad Way (youngest winner of “The World Grand Champion” at the 1994 Celebration). Tara is past three year Vice President and high point winner of the Walking Horse Trainers Auxiliary. This is where points are accumulated throughout the year for the class winner at one night and multi-night horse shows.
Throughout her career in Real Estate, her COMMITMENT to selling properties for her clients and assisting in PURCHASING homes for 1st time buyers or people who never dreamed of the reality of owning their own home continues to motivate her!!
